Less than 15 minutes from Masterton, Gallin Farm offers a base for visiting vineyards, olive groves and local artists, riding the cycle trails or playing golf. There is also access for trout fishing in the Ruamahanga and Kopuaranga rivers and great photographic opportunities in the surrounding countryside and the Wairarapa coast (one hour to the landmark Castlepoint lighthouse).
